Persuasive or narrative writing

Write a longer piece (8-10 sentences) in your target language that's either persuasive (arguing for an opinion, like why a particular hobby is worth trying) or narrative (telling a short story with a clear beginning, middle and end) — a step up from simply describing your day. Persuasive writing requires organising reasons in a logical order; narrative writing requires managing a sequence of events and, ideally, some description of feeling or reaction, not just a flat list of what happened.

Example

A short narrative might open with a simple situation ("Last weekend I went to the beach with my family"), build through a small complication or event ("but the weather suddenly changed and it started raining heavily"), and close with how it resolved ("so we went to a cafe instead and had a great time anyway") — a genuine story arc rather than a flat list of unconnected sentences.
