This one is a hands-on production activity, not a quiz — so there are no questions to answer on screen. Plan and produce a short media arts piece (a 60-90 second video, a photo essay, or an audio piece) that deliberately uses at least two media language choices you've learned about — for example, a specific camera angle plus an editing pace, or music plus voiceover tone. Before filming or recording, plan your shots or content and think about what representation or message you want to communicate to your audience. Once finished, share it with a family member and explain the specific media language choices you made and why. Always ask before including other people, and never share anything online without a parent's permission. Mark this complete once you've produced and shared your project.
Example
A student making a short video about their morning routine might deliberately use quick cuts and upbeat music to represent it as energetic and fun, rather than steady shots and calm music (which would represent the exact same routine as slow and peaceful) — then explain to a parent why they chose that particular representation.
