Different verb tenses let you talk about the past, present and future — and getting comfortable switching between them naturally is a key step up from simple, present-tense sentences. Pick three tenses you're learning (like past, present and future) and write or say three sentences about your day using each one: what you did this morning (past), what you're doing now (present), and your plans for later (future).

Example

In English this might look like: "This morning I ate breakfast" (past), "I am doing my homework now" (present), and "Tonight I will watch a movie" (future) — the same basic sentence structure, adjusted across three different tenses to talk about different points in time.
