Language and culture are deeply connected — the words a language has (or doesn't have), levels of formality, and common expressions all reflect the culture(s) that speak it. Research one cultural custom, celebration, or communication norm connected to your target language's culture (like a greeting custom, a festival, or a rule about formal versus informal address), and explain how it's reflected in the language itself.
Example
In Japanese, the language has distinct formality levels built into its grammar (not just word choice) — using the wrong level of formality with a teacher or elder isn't just impolite, it's a grammatical mismatch, reflecting how deeply respect and social hierarchy are embedded in Japanese culture and its language structure.
